Wave is a voice keyboard and dictation app for iPhone. It records audio only when you start dictation and transcribes speech on your device with a local model.

Microphone access
Wave asks for microphone access so it can record your voice for transcription. Audio is processed locally and is not sent to a transcription server.
Keyboard setup
If the keyboard does not appear, open iOS Settings, add Wave under Keyboards, and enable Allow Full Access so the keyboard can open the main app and read finished transcriptions from the shared app group.
