Privacy
Wave is designed for local dictation. It does not include accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or cloud transcription.
Audio processing
Wave records audio only after you start dictation. Speech is transcribed on your device with a local speech model. The app may download that model to your device during setup.
Local storage
Finished transcriptions and app preferences are stored locally on your device. The keyboard extension uses an iOS app group so it can share the finished transcription with the main app.
