The MTA's free GTFS-Realtime feeds, the same source used by the countdown clocks in stations. Times are the MTA's estimates and can vary by a minute or two.
How do I save stops?
Save up to four stops (line, direction and station) and set a walking time for each. Arrival highlights the trains you can still catch.
How do I add a widget?
Long-press your home screen, tap +, and search for Arrival. Long-press a widget and choose Edit to pick which saved stop it shows.
Why aren't times updating?
The app refreshes every 60 seconds while open, and widgets refresh on the iOS schedule. Underground without signal, times pause until you reconnect.
Does it work outside NYC or for buses?
No. Arrival covers the NYC subway only.
